Introspection

I've been delinquent about writing recently. It's not that I haven't had things to say, it's just that this wasn't the proper venue for them. It's weird when your entire life is engrossed by something so private and unique that you can't write a single thought down in a public place. Strange, huh?

My life has been busier than ever before...and busy is a good way. I started dating about 6 weeks ago, and the time has simply flown by. And if the first paragraph seemed cryptic, the last sentence should clear things up nicely.

So here are my fledgling thoughts over the past six weeks...I'll likely never flesh them out here, but think about the phrases. I think they're worthy of thought:

Closure causes introspection.
Difficulty causes introspection.
Negative space makes positive space possible.
You can never bury something so deep that it is gone forever.
A destination-less journey is really no journey at all.
A destination without a journey is no destination at all.
Coasting happens rarely in life. Striving for it is madness.
A man who washes his car in March washes not his car.
A slope without slip is not a slope but a plain.
A simple word can destroy more than many actions.

So that's my fortune cookie quotes for the evening. I hope to get back into writing over the next few weeks.
