Below are some designs I put together for our the new student ministry mini-site here at Champion Forest Baptist Church. I designed their current website, In Your Element, in 2006, and was featured in a the book, Web Designers Idea Book (2008). The aims of the ministry have changed since then and a new student pastor has also arrived. As such, they requested a new site to represent their new identity.
Here’s what we’ll present to them next week.

I like the clean-ness of these sites. I prefer the top site to the bottom…just like the bright colors of the top one, it feels very welcoming! Great Job!
Both are nice. The top seems to have a greater depth in layers and transparencies. The positioning of the main box plus the layering seems to give the page a little more freedom, a little more attractive to a younger crowd probably.
Both of the sites are great. I do prefer the top one to the bottom. Excellent work!
Nice work Andrew. If it were between the two, I would go with the top one. The vibrant colors are more welcoming.
I agree I like the first. It’s clean and engaging.
The top one seems to be the most popular… I think I agree with your assessments…
I like the top site…clean and attractive.
I agree with most of the others: the top site is sweet. nice depth and colors. plus i just tend to like the side bars better than links over the top.
