What’s Wrong with the World
“When the London Times asked a number of writers for essays on the topic “What’s Wrong with the World?” [G.K.] Chesterton sent in the reply shortest and most to the point:
‘Dear Sirs:
I am.
Sincerely yours,
G.K. Chesterton’”
- Philip Yancey
I’m reading Orthodoxy by Chesterton right now and the whole book is kind of like that…very blunt, open, honest, and with no flattery of language.
There was another time when he was asked what he thought of civilization, and replied… “I don’t know, why don’t you start one?”
