First of all, I cannot help but say that I am so thankful that the Michael Jackson case is over. I’ve never seen so much non-news masquerading as news. Whoever decided that this was front page stuff for the past six months–I simply don’t know. It’s really the story of a very sick man (regardless of the verdict–I’m sure it was correct) and a spongy markey ready for gossip!
As I was reading MSNBC today, I caught the glimpse of the main graphic:

“Michael Jackson won’t let boys into his room now” — Geez, is it just me or has it always seemed like a bad to have kids hanging around in your bedroom. Common sense.
