Graduation Plus One

Today, marks the one year anniversary of my graduation from college. It almost seems surreal that the first year has passed, and in spite of sounding like a bad cliche, it has gone by so very fast.

And so I recap the last year:
1. I graduate, and the following Monday I had the sad realization that I was jobless and had no idea where to go. I knew a return to Dallas and living at home was forthcoming.
2. I return to work at WKMC Architects where I interned during the summer of 2003. It was nice to have a job, and it certainly reminded me why I didn’t want to pursue a career in architecture. The firm is great, but details drawings are never fun.
4. August — I start at Champion Forest (I skipped the application and interview process, I know; it wasn’t that interesting.)
5. Work. That’s pretty much the story of the past eight months. Well, work, and play and hanging out and helping out with the college group at church.
6. Now. I’ve started the blog again, and I’m very excited about the prospects of the blog and where life is going.
